Slex Allen is a man who wears many different hats. DJ, Producer, Songwriter, Singer, Rapper, Beatboxer. But no matter which figurative hat he wears, he does it with innovation and individuality.

Slex got his start in the Denver music scene as frontman and co-writer for Denver’s legendary future pop group, OptycNerd. For several years, the duo dropped banger after banger and shared the stage with acts such as Lil Dicky, MAX, Jake Miller, Blink-182, 30 Seconds To Mars to name a few. It was at this time that he began his journey as a solo performer and DJ, throwing down sets at bars, clubs and venues all over the city. 

Now Slex Allen has relocated to the vibrant Tampa music scene. When he’s not in his studio producing dance music, you can find him DJing around  Tampa and St. Pete at various bars and clubs. Having been a performer and DJ for 10+ years, Slex is no stranger to the stage. He always brings an electrifying and undeniable magnetism to any venue he touches.

Slex is well-versed in the open format DJing style, so he is comfortable with a wide range of genres - ranging from edm to hip hop, afrobeats to latin pop, and everything in between. So no matter what the occasion is, Slex is guaranteed to bring the vibes!
